Who am I
Ciao, I’m Giovanna — goldsmith, jewellery advisor and founder of Coach of the Rings.
I’ve spent the last 12 years working at the bench in Italy, the UK and Switzerland, making and repairing jewellery, helping clients choose stones and settings, and guiding hundreds of people through one of the most important purchases of their lives.
My jewellery story started young: growing up in the Italian Piccole Dolomiti, I was the kid making “jewels” out of foil and obsessing over anything sparkly. Later, after studying fashion design in Venice, I discovered traditional goldsmithing in England and never looked back. I trained directly at the bench, learning how jewellery behaves in real life — what lasts, what breaks, and what actually works for everyday wear.
Today, I teach goldsmithing and help people buy engagement rings that are beautiful, long-lasting and right for their partner. I’m known for being reassuring, honest, detail-oriented and for explaining complex things in a simple, visual way. Clients often tell me, “You really care,” and I do. My goal is always to help you make a confident decision you’ll never regret.
My mission
I created Coach of the Rings because I saw the same mistakes happening again and again: people buying rings that could not be resized, stones that were set incorrectly and fell out, metals too thin for everyday wear, or styles their partner didn’t actually love.
